Ladies, Gents: meet Christine Eris. One of my best friends, incidental business partner, and most trusted confidant — this girl turns heads like the electronic records she plays. DJ, yessah! House, Breaks. She matches beats, she drops it like it's haute. And she's a designer too.
Eris is a longtime supporter of my work and in wide-ranging ways she has been one of the greatest helps to me this past year. Alongside veteran volunteer-bees Stefan and Pascal, she was there from the beginning of my days as Bourne and I could never appreciate her enough for all that she's done.
Another friendship born of the Internet — I met Eris on Myspace.com and through the past year it became clear that she should be one of the Blaspheme Girls & Boys... real-life friends I've met explicitly through social media who have a deep belief in our social brand.
So here she is! World, meet Eris. Eris, meet world. :)

There was no predetermined purpose to be honest. The whole shoot was serendipitous...
The characters read, "Zui sheng meng si" which literally translates as "drunk birth, dream death". A rough interpretation is "To lead an unimportant and often dissipated life."
I see the Japanese fellow as a warning against going too far - or not far enough. Christine's got a happy balance happening in this shot. One of my faves.
